To cater for this, the Saucony Guide 16 features HOLLOW-TECH support. As the stiffer structure only stabilises you when needed, it adapts to any variances between your left and right.

Upper Fit

We didn't mention above that the sides of the midsole walls rise up. The Saucony Guide 16 upper works in harmony with the contoured cushioning to deliver a supportive feel. Straps at the midfoot make it easier to lock the upper into place. 

Ideal Run Type

We recommend using the Saucony Women's Guide 16 stability running shoes for slower to steady paced runs. That's because the cushioning feels soft, plush and forgiving underfoot. They're also a great option for long runs. In our experience, a lot of runners use these for marathon training.

With its holistic support, the Saucony Guide 16 should suit runners who have differences in stability between their left and right sides. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
